What is factory refurbished?

While most of our products are Brand New - Factory sealed, we also offer some items shown as condition :Refurbished.
Factory refurbished merchandise can be up to 80% cheaper and may have just been returned within the 14 Day 'Cooling off' period because the customer disliked the color. Consumer laws prevent manufacturers from selling merchandise considered factory refurbished and described as 'new'. Obviously, this leaves you the consumer, with a chance to make a huge saving from purchasing an item that must be inspected and serviced by the manufacturer, then tested and repackaged to meet original product specifications.
All factory refurbished merchandise comes with our 30 Day from date of delivery return policy and is covered for 90 days from date of delivery by the manufacturer, unless otherwise stated.

For your information, here are some further examples of what is considered factory refurbished:

Items where the box or casing was damaged in shipping and were then returned to the manufacturer.

Consumers change their mind and return the product to the retail store, whereupon the product is inspected and repackaged like new by the manufacturer and is then sold as factory refurbished.

Demonstration units are also considered factory refurbished. These units are inspected, tested and repackaged.

Brand new overstocked items are also labeled factory refurbished.

The item was returned to the manufacturer because of a slight defect. The part that was defective was replaced by the manufacturer, tested and then repackaged just like new. Refurbished electronic goods are a much sweeter deal. Consumer electronics are returned to the manufacturer for different reasons, they are inspected tested, then resold at a lower price!

The box was simply opened.

The item was returned because of a minor cosmetic blemish on the casing that was corrected.
